Who we are
We’re Seth and Gina Ogle from Arbela, Missouri. Together we’re raising our four kids—Uriah, Milah, Micah, and Asher—who keep life busy, fun, and always interesting. Our family is active in our local 4-H community, and when we’re not cooking or working events, you can usually find us out hiking, fishing, hunting and exploring the outdoors. Seth works as a welder and poultry producer, and he also jumps in to help Gina with catering and running the food truck. The kids pitch in too, helping with both our poultry operation and the food truck whenever they can.
Gina learned to cook much like many home chefs today—through the internet, Food Network shows, and a lot of trial, error, and creativity. Seven years ago, a friend asked Gina if she could cater a small event, and that one simple “yes” opened the door to what has now become a thriving catering and food truck business. Since then, we’ve catered weddings, family celebrations, corporate meals, and community events, turning a passion for homemade food into something so much bigger.
Barbecue has become one of our deepest passions and a core part of what we do. We started smoking meat nearly 20 years ago using a small vertical smoker we received as a wedding gift. About 13 years ago, Seth built his first offset smoker from scratch, and that homemade pit taught us more about barbecue than any book or video ever could. We even ran it for the entire first year of our food truck. When Seth originally built it, he joked it was “big enough to cook anything we’d ever need,” but after our first year with the food trailer, we quickly realized we needed even more capacity. That led to the smoker we use today—an offset pit Seth built from a 500-gallon propane tank. All of our barbecue is smoked with hickory wood sourced from nearby farms, keeping our flavors local and true to our roots.
Our business is a family effort built on hard work, community values, and a love for serving great food. We’re grateful for every customer who invites us to be part of their special events, lunches, and celebrations. From our family to yours—thank you for supporting what we love to do, and we look forward to serving you soon.
